I find myself craving for bloging more and more. But the fact I end up posting nothing. Who should be blame? The limit of my creativity to compose words or many kinds of distractions that I meet? Both of them maybe.
I'm curious if it's only my will to take a rest. Last week is my final undergraduate thesis exam and it's been very stressful for me due to some misunderstandings. I am still so disappointed, feel betrayed, so resentful. So lately I keep trying to entertain myself. Fortunately, I bought three novels on book sale on July. I also found some eBooks, randomly, because they're so "booming". So after I finish my exams, I am currently in process of reading The Adventure of the Christmas Pudding by Agatha Christie. It's only a collection of her short stories. Enough for warming up myself before reading another Agatha Christie books such as 4:50 from Paddington and The Mirror Crack'd from Side to Side. I have some eBooks too. There are Women by Charles Bukowski, Fifty Shades of Grey by E. L. James, and I Shall Wear Midnight and also Wintersmith by Terry Pratchett.
I would love to buy Terry Pratchett's printed books Tiffany Aching series*. There are four books, but for now I only find two books that have been published here, The Wee Free Men and A Hat Full of Sky. I love the characters. I love Tiffany Aching and Nac Mac Feegle. I've read the two of them and the first book, The Wee Free Men, is my favorite. It's a pity Atria, TWFM and AHFoS publisher, doesn't publish I Shall Wear Midnight and Wintersmith. Not sold well?
Fifty Shades of Grey.. have you heard about this book? Started from my habit to check celebrities news on JustJared. Then I keep seeing some news with this Fifty Shades of Grey. I ignored it at the first. What I knew: there's going to be a movie whose story comes from a novel. That's it. Then there's a news that my favorite actreess, Emma Watson, was rumoured to take a part too. It's followed by many comments, tell her to not to take a part. Then there're some Twitter user on my timeline who tweet about this too. Then enough! I couldn't ignore it anymore. I had to read this. But after Googling it, I gaped. It's clear I didn't expect the Google result. If you wanna know, Google it. Now I understand why Emma Watson's fans are worrying her. I've read few pages randomly. Me (worrying) too.
Last, Women by Charles Bukowski is a little similar. But it's softer. I think it's more acceptable. Don't mean to say that FSoG is not acceptable, but for me, as I am raised in east culture, although I can take it, I don't think I can take it 100%. I was online, then there was Twitter user who tweet a book review. It's Women review. Shortly, it entered on my list, waiting to be read. And that's how I have these books on my waiting list.
I love reading. At least for now.
*there's something about printed books that I love, maybe because it's printed
