First, blogwalking. Everytime I connect to internet, I open Twitter, check some updates from Twitter users. Since HelloGiggles launched, I find many Twitter users who are attractive enough to be followed. And because it is HelloGiggles, the "many Twitter users who attractive enough to be followed"" are mostly blogger. From one blogger, I can suddenly be at another blogger's blog by clicking their link list. Compare this to before Twitter exists, I only blogwalking through friends blog.
Actually, there are many websites like HelloGiggles. But I'm never interested to websites like this before. The plausible reason is maybe because my favorite musician, Zooey Deschanel, is HelloGiggles co-founder.
Second, stealing template ideas. The first thing I value from bloggers blog is their templates. I love simple, minimalist, and low-bandwidth friendly blog (or website). If blogger has template like this, I may keep visiting their blog ... Then stealing it! I may steal its element ideas. I may steal its colour ideas. I may steal its layout ideas. Only ideas, not going to be exactly the same with the original blog.
Many beauty and fashion blogs have simple and minimalist template. Unfortunately, these blogs usually are not low-bandwidth friendly. These blogs need minutes to be loaded, which makes me down. My internet is low bandwidth so goodbye beauty and fashion blogs!
Third, stealing blogging ideas. This is how it works: open blog (with blogwalking intention, lets being innocence) - read - if you're lucky you're going to find a nice topic for you and you can make your own blog post with that topic. For example, I read It's a really good thing I'm not single then I make "It's a really good thing I'm not single". Both have almost the same topic but different indeed.
