Somehow, I accidentally remembered Stefy band. I heard their song for the first time when I logged in into Jango which automatically plays random songs when you log in to. The first Stefy song I knew -from Jango- was Hey Schoolboy. My ears were like waken up to listen Stefy. About two weeks ago I was looking for their songs, but it was very difficult to find the songs because most of their files have been deleted from the file hosting. Last night I was looking for their songs track by track until finally collected into one album. This is a glimpse of me about Stefy.
Stefy is a pop band from Orange County, California, which consists of Stefy Rae (vocals), Jason Gaviati (keyboards), and Jordan Plosky (drums). Stefy used to have four members with Adam Ross as their rythem guitarist. Their debut album, The Orange Album, was released on August 28, 2006 in the U.S. and 23 April 2007 in the UK.
Not much can be known from Stefy. Although Wikipedia writes they are active since 2002 - now, Stefy is not been heard again. In May 2009, Stefy released four demos on their MySpace. In September the same year, Stefy Rae said that the band is no longer together. It is really regrettable for me.
Stefy songs that I heard last night sounded very catchy for my ears. Their music genres are pop / rock, electronica, electropop mixed well so easily accepted. Although some of the songs sound in my opinion a bit complicated, but their singles pretty easy listening for the genre like this. Try listen to Chelsea, Hey Schoolboy, Orange County, You and Me Against the World, and Fool for Love which is the soundtrack of the film John Tucker Must Die.
Stefy is my recommended artist this time. Their songs are acceptable. Put the songs on your playlist and give it chance to take your heart. You don't even have to 100% stay tune. Their songs will keep to make you move your body. Just listen to their music as an alternative choice of music pop / rock / punk that almost always be loved by music lovers around the world.
FYI, these are The Orange Album rating by professional reviews:
